Perched on the banks of the now flowing Savute Channel after nearly 30 years of lying dormant. The Savute Elephant Camp offers a spectacular birds eye view of elephant in their natural habitat. Savute Elephant Camp promises outstanding game viewing without having to leave the confines of the camp itself, so prevalent is the wildlife around the water hole.
20km upstream from the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers is a place where the dust speaks of an ancient time, a time when the scent of the dust meant survival or death. And Chobe Game Lodge is part of this place. The architecture is Moorish and graceful – high arches, barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors creating an atmosphere of spaciousness and tranquility.

Day 01 – Arrive in Johannesburg and get transferred to the hotel
Upon landing at O.R Tambo International Airportand clearing arrival formalities, you will be greeted after immigration and walked to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 02 – Johannesburg to Maun
After Breakfast, make your own way from the Intercontinental Hotel O.R Tambo back to O.R Tambo International Airport arriving in time to connect with the scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Maun. On arrival at Maun International Airport, be met and assisted to the seat on charter flight transfer from Maun to Eagle Island Lodge. The flying time is approximately 15 minutes.
After the afternoon tea, depart on your first game drive.During afternoon game drives there will be an opportunity to view all different species of African game during this special time of the day. During different game drives at different times of the day you will have a unique experience as the animals have different habits at each time of the day. During your afternoon game drive you will see the game moving towards the different waterholes to relieve their thirst. This then leads to large number of animals concentrated around water sources.
After an adventurous afternoon, return to the camp and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 03 – Okavango Delta
After an early breakfast, you will have the opportunity to go on an early morning game drive with an experienced guide where you will experience a wide variety of game. You will see all the nocturnal animal starting to move away from the light and all the other animals starting their new day in the African bush. An early morning mokoro trip is an excellent opportunity to learn more about nature and the African bush.
Return to the camp and enjoy a hearty brunch. Rest of the afternoon is at leisure to relax at the camp.
After the afternoon tea, enjoy another game activity. Enjoy a delicious dinner upon return to the camp

Day 04 – Okavango Delta to Savute Elephant Lodge
After an early breakfast, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a mokoro trip or game drive in the surrounding area. Return to the camp and enjoy a hearty brunch before being transferred by road to the airstrip.
Connect with the seat on charter flight transfer from Eagle Island Lodge to Savute. The flying time is approximately 45 minutes. You will be met on arrival at the airstrip and transferred by road from the Savute airstrip to Savute Elephant Lodge.After the afternoon tea at the camp, enjoy a game activity in Savute and return to the camp for a delicious dinner.

Day05 – Savute National Park
After an early breakfast,enjoy an early morning game drive in the Savute National Park. Return to the camp and enjoy a hearty brunch at leisure. Rest of the afternoon is at leisure to relax at the camp.

Day 06 – Savute to Kasane
After an early breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the Savute National Park. Return to the camp and enjoy a hearty brunch before being transferred by road to the airstrip.Connect with the seat on charter flight transfer from Savute to Kasane. The flying time is approximately 40 minutes.
You will be met on arrival at the Kasane Airport and transferred by road to Chobe Game Lodge.After the afternoon tea at the camp, enjoy a game activity in Chobe Game Lodge.Chobe Game Lodge game drives are conducted in open sided 4×4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility. Guests can also enjoy a romantic sunset cruise down the Chobe River. Cruises on small boats or aboard the Mosi-oa-Tunya, afford spectacular wildlife viewing and enable you to experience unforgettable African sunsets. Game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft boats piloted by expert boatmen. Return to the camp for a delicious dinner.

Day07 – Kasane
After an early breakfast, enjoy an early morning game drive of about 2 hours. Return to the camp and enjoy a hearty brunch at leisure. After which you could go for an optional mid-morning game drive of about 2 hours depending on the game that you see.Rest of the afternoon is at leisure to relax at the lodge.
After the afternoon tea,enjoy another afternoon activity at Chobe Game Lodge. Enjoy a delicious dinner upon return to the lodge.

Day 08 – Kasane to Victoria Falls & Sundowner cruise on Zambezi river
After an early breakfast, enjoy an early morning game. Return to the camp and enjoy a hearty brunch before connecting with the transfer to Victoria Falls. The road transfer will take about 2 hours.
On arrival, check in at the Elephant Camp.
The panoramic views of the Falls are breathtaking from the central area and the west wing of camp whilst the Batoka gorge yawns before one from the rooms in the east wing. The Elephant Camp is situated only 10 minutes from Victoria Falls in a private concession within the Victoria Falls National Park. With an emphasis on exclusivity, the luxury tented suites all have private decks and plunge pools. The Elephant Camp overlooks a waterhole that is fed by natural streams in the rainy season that rush down to meet the Masuwe River, and the Zambezi gorges below the Falls. Walks and birding for guests supply boundless photographic opportunities in addition to the variety of activities that are available in Victoria Falls.
Rest of the afternoon is at leisure to relax at the lodge.
In the evening, get transferred from the hotel to the mighty Zambezi River to take a sunset cruise as it is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river. Enjoy a delicious dinner upon return to the camp.

Day 09 – Victoria Falls
After breakfast at the camp, depart on an informative guided tour of Victoria Falls. En route, clients may be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where they may stop and take photos. The Victoria Falls constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The Local people call it “Mosi-oa-Tunya” — the smoke that thunders and the Falls are remarkable. There is a magic about them manifested in the towering column of spray when the river is high, the thunder of the falling water, the terrifying abyss and tranquil lagoons upstream in which hippo and deadly crocodiles lurk. Remarkably preserved in its natural state, Victoria Falls inspires visitors as much today as it did David Livingstone in the 1860’s. The falls and the surrounding area have been declared National Parks and a World Heritage Site, thus preserving the area from excessive commercialization. Return to the camp for a delicious lunch, followed by the opportunity to meet the Wild Horizons elephants in the afternoon.

Day 10 – Depart Victoria Falls
After breakfast at the camp, connect with a road transfer from Victoria Falls to the Victoria Falls Airport arriving in time to connect with the scheduled flight to Johannesburg in order to catch your onward flight.
